Evaluation & Assessment

A Sports Therapist is able to effectively evaluate and assess sports and non-sports injuries alike and provide you with detailed information regarding the nature of your issue.

Treatment

After an assessment, a Sports Therapist will provide a plan to treat and manage the injury. treatments will usually involve techniques such as soft-tissue therapy and manual therapy. 

Rehabilitation

A Sports Therapist will design a bespoke rehabilitation programme to help you return to back to optimal levels of function whether that be to get you back to playing your sport, getting you back to work, personal training or simply back to performing normal daily tasks.

Despite its name, sports therapy isn’t only useful to athletes, it’s beneficial to anyone. Sports therapy is a healthcare profession concerned with the prevention of injury and the rehabilitation of individuals back to optimum levels of functional, occupational and sports specific fitness, regardless of age and ability.

Your sports therapist will be able to treat both sports and non-sports injuries alike. As musculoskeletal specialists we can assess and treat a wide range of issues.

Be prepared to provide your medical history. It’s always useful to bring relevant scans/MRI reports if you have them, however this is not a requirement.

Please feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in. We usually recommend to wear shorts and loose gym clothing.

The number of visits will vary depending on the issue. However, after the initial assessment your therapist will discuss a treatment and rehabilitation plan with you. We always aim to make your plan as efficient as possible.

Most appointments will last no longer than 45 minutes.

We accept payment by cash or credit/debit card.

Cancellations made within 24 hrs of your appointment will incur a 100% charge of the total cost of the session.
